This designation is for students who are overcoming adversity and/or showing ever-increasing potential to become excellent scholars and artisans.

NCU Elite Ambassadors
These students represent the heart and soul of North Carolina University. They are NCU’s representatives in local, state, national, and/or global communities. They must represent NCU well by being professional, articulate, poised, and scholarly.

Nerd Beauty and Nerd Suave Elite
These organizations are for academics and professionals who have achieved measurable accomplishments in their prospective fields of study or business. For example, they have a master’s, doctoral, medical, or Juris Doctor degree, or they have professional accomplishments that have national recognition. Members must be approved by a committee, and a membership fee applies. Students will receive a discounted membership rate.

This group is articulate, scholarly, posed, and fashion conscious. They embody the slogan—“You don’t have to Choose—Be Phenomenal and Brilliant!” NCU community members who want to be scholars with flare need to join this organization. Membership fees apply (student fees are discounted).

NCU has programs to teach our youth and others etiquette and poise. You will become polished and ready for interpersonal and social interactions. You will also become more scholarly and well-rounded.
