NCU’s Publications and Multi-Media Outreach

H.A.A.R.P.

H.A.A.R.P. is the acronym for Humanities, Arts, and Real People. It is a non-subscription-based, state-of-the-art, magazine that is designed to promote NCU and the NCU community. It is also designed to reach industry leaders and to be a promotional tool for aspiring artists and humanitarians.

Echt!

Echt is a German word that means “genuine or authentic.” This cutting-edge, state-of-the-art magazine is designed to showcase the ever-changing world of technology and Christian ministry. The two fields may not always seem to be linked, but in Echt!, they will share a home and a thriving community of thinkers who will discuss their dynamics.

1-SAF Media Productions

In November 2019, Dr. Freeman and her company 1-SAF Media Productions was on the set of the Tammy Faye Bakker biopic starring acclaimed actress Jessica Chastain and Andrew Garfield.  Dr. Freeman will use 1-SAF Media and her other media outlets to give students media exposure and experience.  She also has press-release distribution and numerous media connections.  She is expanding her and NCU’s social media presence so that the NCU community has a broader national and global reach.

Metanioa University, Inc. Press (MUIP)

NCU will partner with other universities and organizations to bring holistic health and wellness to the NCU community. Using spirituality as its foundation, Metanoia University, Inc. Press will seek writers who can help to make sense of a complicated world. Additionally, MUIP will seek writers and other scholars who will use various forms of communication to bring healing, comfort, and solace to hurting people.

NCU will have a global presence because Dr. Freeman, our president, has a global presence. She is a Global Hope Ambassador, and she has multiple media connections that have a worldwide presence.  The motto for her multi-media station, W2-7, is “The World to Us.”  Dr. Freeman brings global experiences to the NCU community.  She has connected with 7 countries already and more are coming soon.

After decades of doing marketing and advertising work, Dr. Freeman has learned a lot about elevating a brand and letting it shine. She developed brands called “Nerd Beauty” and “Nerd Suave” to show women and men that you don’t have to choose one over the other anymore. Beauty and brains can exist quite harmoniously with each other! Their article, “Two Professors Use Fashion to Discuss Technology,” gained national attention!
